In addition to the annual
WAA convention which covers the
latest federal and state tax information,
legislation, rules, regulations and subjects related to the vital interest of accountants and their practice,
the WAA sponsors a variety of accounting and practice management seminars and workshops that utilize expert
hosts from various fields on topics relating to individuals, trusts, partnerships, and corporations. These
workshops fulfill continuing education requirements and keep accountants abreast of current techniques and
philosophies in the field.

Kathy Mostowik, Internal Revenue Service Sr Liaison, will be at every seminar this fall to provide a brief update on the tax preparer legislations.
Carol Scott, WI Department of Revenue, will be at the 1040 Individual Tax - Gear Up in Waukesha and the Business Tax in Depth - Bob Jennings in WI Dells. She will speak from 4 - 5pm to give you an update on the state of WI.
